If you manage to burn 500 calories per training session (on a treadmill) you will loose some pounds very fast. I was very curious in how many minutes I can burn these calories and how faster should I walk/run on a treadmill in order to achieve this goal.
After doing some research I realize that it depends on how fast you're going. You will usually burn 500-600 calories in a run with a speed of 5.5mph for 45 minutes.
Also I noticed that on a treadmill, 1 mile is typically about 130 calories, give or take a few. So for a 500 calories per day you should run around 3.5-4 miles.
It seems that doing some treadmill workouts will burn serious calories. I train doing my favorite TV show so I’m not bored for one whole hour.
